Taxpayers Gave IRS Mixed Signals On Cheating, Preparer Oversight
The latest Taxpayer Attitude Survey released by the IRS Oversight Board seems to speak with forked tongue. On the one hand, the percentage of taxpayers who think its okay to cheat on their income taxes increased to 13 percent in 2009, up from 9 percent in 2008, while the percentage who said that cheating was not at all acceptable declined to 84 percent...
